The manager lives on site. Can have pets. ; Prices are reasonable.
I have stayed here two times in the past 2 years. The first time I was severely disappointed. The second time it was so infested with roaches that we had to get up at 10:30 check out drive to Elizabeth City to find a place to stay. Friday night we stopped to book a room ,the woman behind the counter was courteous but the gentleman I believe to be the owner was extremely rude and insulting. I told them I was a smoker but that I would take a non-smoking room in order to get a queen-size bed for me and my wife. He insisted that if I was a smoker that I had to take a smoking room and stay in a single bed. After I told the woman behind the counter again I did not want to single bed that I would take a non-smoking queen size the gentleman very rudely insisted that she get some type of deposit or credit card in a way that was very insulting. This will definitely be the last experience with this hotel. I strongly advise to find a local Airbnb or go to the several other hotels that are in Edenton I have been to most of them and they are courteous and fairly clean with no roaches.
Advertises rooms for 55 dollars. But that's only for a 1 person king size room. 75 dollars for a 2 bed 2 person room.
I feel like it deserves a solid 3 stars. You get what you pay for. It's not bad but nothing great either.
Do yourself a favor and go somewhere else!!!
No phone in the room. Tub was spongy, no coffee table. The room was not nice. No ice machaine.
