Jennifer on the night shift was very helpful in getting us a room close yoyo the office. And the young lady at the desk was extremely helpful in calling an ambulance for my mother when she was unresponsive and her blood sugar was dangerously low along with her pulse an heart rate. Thank you so much for all your help. My mother is doing better. The rooms were fine. A bit of a draft not the ritz.but we were happy with the quality of the staff. And good night sleep! Highly recommended! They do give America's best in Edenton, N.C.
We stayed 2 nights this past weekend while our son participated in a 4-H shooting sports competition nearby. The price was fair and the rooms were clean - beds were comfy. Pool was saltwater and clean. The staff was amazingly friendly, polite and helpful. Only reason it's not 5 stars is the smell several other reviews mentioned - whatever it is set off my allergies while in the room. Still, I'd definitely recommend it and would stay there again.
When we got here, our first room was no bigger then a shoe box, smelled , burned holes in comforter and was dirty. I went down and requested to have another room. They gave us a different room. This one was better but was in desperate need to be vacuumed. Who ever painted the rooms was not professional. The ceiling looked like it had been repaired a few times. We just prayed that it didn't fall in on us. The air conditioner didn't work. It would shut off during the night and it wouldn't come back on for about an hour. It is hot in NC. Not something we can live without. The staff that we had contact with was friendly on the bright side.
It's a nice hotel. You pay for what you get so it's comfortable to sleep in. They do have a swing pool but no life guard. Room spell but with enough Lysol I was okay to sleep.
The room was simple but clean. The air conditioning worked well, but it also wasn't too hot so i can't comment on if that's a consistent performance. Staff was courteous and professionsal. Breakfast was average for a continental meal. Overall a good value for the price.
