Great retreat in a quaint waterside town. Has that feeling of a home away from home, and the food is fantastic. They have a huge wrap-around porch, which is a nice place to read or just relax and take in the fresh air.
Great B&B and very welcoming. Our room was more than we expected. The bathroom alone was bigger than our bedroom at home. Don showed us around and took the time to discuss his banana trees with my wife. She had recently planted one and needed some advice on tending to it. Breakfast was top notch and well prepared. Close to the waterfront and downtown. We will be back for sure.
We absolutely enjoyed our stay at the Captain's Quarters Inn. Don and his wife provided sumptuous breakfasts each morning and were always very helpful. The room was comfortable and the location was perfect for exploring a lovely town.
Wonderful weekend in a lovely B&B in Edenton. Owners Don and Diane made the stay truly memorable with their wonderful wine and dine package. So enjoyed chatting with Don and devouring Diane's amazing food! The grow so much of their own produce and make so many of their specialties, like fresh breakfast sausage and smoked bacon. Wish we could have tried Don's BBQ. The room was very pleasant, the bed very comfortable and the bathroom great! I like a comfy tub especially on cold Fall days. There was a lot of light coming into the room from the street lamp outside so if that would bother you, ask for a room in the back. The Inn is an easy walk to historic Edenton center/waterfront and nestled among so many of the beautiful old homes of the area.I highly recommend The Captain's Quarters and hope to make it back someday. Enjoy!
