Had what I needed on sale and super friendly folks at the checkout. Will definitely be back when in the area.
This store has half aisles and is like a maze. It's hard to maneuver around and is always crowded. Things are hard to find and there's always lines at the check out as there are never enough cashiers. The parking lot is a disaster so be prepared to walk. There are not enough cart returns so again be prepared to walk. The only up side is that you won't have to go to the gym the day you visit this store.
I have been here a handful of times and I will not be going back. Each time I went it took longer to check out than it took me to find the items I wanted and be ready to check out. They have one or two check out lanes open and the lines wrap around and into the aisles. If they are understaffed they need to be calling some people in. I’m not sure why it is always like that. The cashiers hate their job and they make it known. However, there are a couple there that are personable. They need to get it together. Every other food lion I’ve been to was better than this one. Like I stated above, I will not be returning.
I've only been here at night around 9 PM but it's usually not crowded at all and I can get in and get out quick. The store is very large and open after they moved locations from the other side of town. Friendly staff for the most part.
Edenton Food Lion was a very pleasant place to shop. Friendly and helpful staff, quality products. I would come back.
